Apple is already launched iPhone 6S in the late September, and below mentioned gadgets can be the best alternatives of iPhone 6S in terms of starting from design, display to battery and performance.
Samsung Galaxy S6: Samsung Galaxy S6 is slight thicker and heavier than iPhone 6S. Samsung Galaxy S6 is 6.9 thick, 138g, aluminum unibody with glass panel, white Pearl/Black Sapphire/Gold Platinum/Blue Topaz where iPhone 6S is 6.9mm thick, 129g with anodized aluminum back, Space Grey/Silver/Gold.
When it comes to internals, Samsung has its own 64-bit octa-core Exynos 7420 processor where as Apple iPhone 6S has its own 64-bit 1.39GHz dual-core A8 processor and 1GB of RAM. Galaxy S6 avails Android Lollipop whereas iPhone 6S runs iOS 8.1. Galaxy S6 has gone for Super AMOLED screen, measuring 5.1 inches with 1440 x 2560 pixels while iPhone 6s sports smaller screen and body.
In terms of camera, Galaxy holds the 16mp rear camera, 4K video recording features with the up gradation of front camera to 5mp. On the other hand iPhone 6s has 12mp rear camera with 4K video recording facility.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge is a bigger device at 5.1 inches compared to iPhone 6s and has a touchscreen display with a resolution of 1440 by 2560. Galaxy S6 Edge has 12mp rear camera with 5mp front facing camera.
In terms of technology, Galaxy S6 edge’s screen uses AMOLED display technology where as IPS displays are found in the iPhone 6S. Galaxy S6 supports the fast charging (with wired and wireless charger) which can’t be found in iPhone 6S.
Sony Xperia Z5: Apple went for same display size on iPhone 6S as it was with iPhone 6, 4.7inch with the resolution of 1125x2000 pixels and a pixel density of 488ppi where as Sony Xperia Z5 has 5.2inch display with the resolution of 1920x1080 at a pixel density of 424ppi. Sony Xperia Z5 has full HD which saves battery life while iPhone 6S has 2K resolution. Sony Xperia Z5 comes with 32 GB with the expandable memory up to 128 GB and also it comes with 3RAM. When it comes to iPhone 6s, there is no information yet about RAM but it is believed to be 2 GB. In iPhone 6s, Apple comes up with A9 chipset.
HTC One M9: With a metal unibody the iPhone 6s resembles to its predecessor and it comes with a fingerprint scanner. This phone is available in four colors: space gray, rose gold, gold and silver. HTC One M9 doesn't have fingerprint scanner but it has a metal body with round corners. It comes with several color like amber gold, gunmetal gray, a silver/rose gold combination and a gold/pink combination.
One M9 comes with a bigger display of 5.0-inch LCD3 screen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a density of 441 pixels per inch where where as iPhone 6s has 4.7 inches IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 750 x 1334 pixels and a density of 326 pixels per inch.
