Introduction: The later part of 2015 will be bestowed with the latest gadgets like smart phones and iPhones with the classy look and modern features. Sony and Apple are bringing their princess to the gadget competitive market in late 2015 to beat the other phablet.
Design: Sony sports the traditional Omni Balance design in its Xperia Z5 premium with aluminium frame in between glass front and rear panel. It is slight thicker and heavier to facilitate the 4K resolution display. iPhone 6 Plus comes with a rounder approach with curved edge and aluminium casing. The power key of the iPhone 6 Plus is found in the side of device and finger-print-sensor button is in the home button in the front side of the device where in Sony Xperia Z5 the power key, integrated with the finger print sensor, is located at the edge of the device.
The iPhone 6 Plus offers silver, space grey and gold color whereas the Xperia Z5 Premium comes in black, gold and chrome color. Xperia Z5 Premium is IP65/68 water proof.
Z5 Premium is little fatter and heavier then iPhone 6 Plus as it measures 154.4 x 75.8 x 7.8mm where iPhone 6 plus measures 158.1 x 77.8 x 7.1mm. The weight of Xperia Z5 Premium 180g and iPhone 6 Plus is 172g.
Display: Both Sony Xperia Z5 Premium and Apple iPhone 6 Plus have 5.5 inch display but the resolutions are different. The Xperia Z5 Premium features 4K display with the ludicrous resolution of 2160 by 3840 pixels and it has pixel density of 806ppi. But iPhone 6 Plus consists of 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with resolution of 1080 pixel that means density of 401ppi.
Functionality: Sony Xperia Z5 Premium runs Android 5.1 and Sony's Xperia UI on board where Apple iPhone 6 Plus runs iOS 8.4 which will be upgraded to iOS 9 very soon to avail more functionality. It can’t avail the limitless functionality like Android. Apple allows you to use Apple Pay where you will find the Android Pay in the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium.
Processor: Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, 64-bit octa-core processor and a 5.5 inch IPS LCD display with 4K resolution of 3840 x 2160. It has Adreno 430 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage expandable up to 200GB. It runs Google's Android 5.0 Lollipop mobile operating system but it has skinned Android with its own custom user interface. It holds a 23-megapixel rear camera, and 5.1-megapixel front-facing camera, it has a 3430 mAh battery.
The Apple iPhone 6 Plus features the a dual-core 1.4GHz Apple A8 SoC, with the storage options of 16GB, 64GB and 128GB but no microSD support. Moreover, its PowerVR GX6450 GPU is one of the better-performing ones around.
Camera: When it comes to camera, The Apple iPhone 6 Plus has an F2.2 8MP rear camera, with its sensor being 1/3" in size and has1.5 μm pixels. But Sony Xperia Z5 Plus has drawn the attention of crowd because of its as usual features excellent camera. It has 23-megapixel rear camera and 5.1-megapixel front-facing camera with 1/2.3'' 23MP Sony Exmore RS for mobile sensor camera and f/2.0 G Lens. It features the fastest auto focused at 0.3 second, Clear photo with Zoom and Quality photos in the darker place. The above features are not available in the Apple iPhone 6 Plus.
